Well guys its seems to me that in highschool, (at least mine) you are cool and socially accepted if you:

1. Have a North Face jacket that you wear religiously, no matter if its 100 degrees outside.

2. Have a Browning logo on the back of your car,...And yes they come in pink for girls, ( btw they love them ?) ( I thought being a vegitarian, or like a vegan was the hip teen thing for girls to do.)

3. Have a Chickfila Milkshake every time your anywere were people might see you.( They are delicious though, i cant help to not get one ever so often but still.)

I am posting this to ramble about the above.

Totally agree with #1. Still applies up in the Northeast.

I saw kids wearing them about a week ago when it was 80 degrees.

I wear the cheapest shoes that are comfortable I can find. The ones I have on are all torn to heck and back, need some new ones...

What percentage of the people with Broning logos do you think have ever shot one, or know what it is. The little 16 year old girl next door has one, and I don't think she has even seen a gun, besides when I'm sitting on the porch with a botle of shine and a 12 gauge.

At my high school your social states was directly related to the size of your truck.

Carry around this and tell them that that's what Browning makes.

I remember senior year a guy in my physics class got caught with a 12 gauge in his truck in the school parking lot. He spent two or three days in ISS (in school suspension) while they decide what to do about it. They ended up suspending him from the football team for a week.

If that happened here, he would be charged and probably expelled...

lol if that happened at my school.
1st: we would be evacuated from school
2nd: he would be charged with terroristic threats, conspiracy, and prolly a ton of other things
3rd: he would be expelled

This is at least what happens with fake bomb threats at my school

We got evacuated once for someone spraying fart in a can in the hall way
they thought it was a "noxious gas" and called the fire department

I don't think they could arrest everyone at Midland High that had a gun in there car at school. They would be too backed up with about 200-300 arrest, and a lot of pissed-off people.

squirrel your right your social status is directly impacted by the size of your truck and the use of your tailgate where i come from, meh but that's just me. Oh and the girls around here have probably shot more guns than i have, and i try to shoot everything my buddys use from your standard 12 gauge to there possibly modified carbines.

Yea they prob do know the whole brownning logo stuff, at my school atleast ALOT of people hunt very regulary, like the senior girls went spotlighting for rabbits last year, and there parents have alot of property down by Leakey Texas that they go huntin deer at. So i think there very awear of what browning is.

Ohh and the whole guns in cars at school, my sister had a 20 gauge shotgun in the back of her truck when she was a senior at my school.
