Last night I spent a rather large amount of time going through all the members on the forum memberlist deleting the spam bots accounts, banning their e-mails etc... This should slow down the constant spam garbage we have to deal with.

Now, as a result I may have accidentally deleted an account that was supposed to be there. I do not think I did, but it is possible, so if I deleted yours I'm sorry, re-registering is all it takes.

I'm going to stay on top of the spam bot accounts deleting and banning them as they show up, so ya Just FYI what I've been up to :-D

Eh, I perfer them to spam this thread, makes my life easier lol, I know when there is a post here it's most likely got spam to go with it lol

yeah i agree, since this thread the spam has been isolated... :lol:

Ok, I've had enough.

More are getting in then I thought would, so I had to do something I never wanted to!

All new user accounts not have to be let in by an Admin. I'll be setting up a few more admins with the ability to activate accounts so that they don't take too long :-)

i smell something, and it smells like texan getting admin, lol no just playing i dont even think i can handle that even if it was to happen but how do we know these are just one person like can we track them? well if it was my decision i blame it on Al Gores Global Warmming :D hehehe

it's not one person, they are bots, from about 100 different IPs so far, mostly from India lately

hahaha, hey sk i havnt talked to you in a long time hows the kid? and if you could find some time out of your Daddy sitting live to play with us i think most of the active ppl would come back you see i think i scared them off :D
