BF2142 and vista

im having an issue where i just installed bf2142 and patched it but when i start it the splash screen pops up then a black screen and then a blue screen that locks up my system and then reboots itself ive downloaded a hotfix as recomended and ran it but no luck i even renstalled and ran it without patching after shutting down all possible background prosseses and still no luck anyone know a fix for this... sure would like to play my new game i just bought

ps i dont have a copy of xp to downgrade with so thats not an option

Maybe it's not your operating system,
Is your graphics card drivers up to date?
try updating the drivers, if it doesnt help
hey at least you've improved your graphics card. lol

but i'll try and find solutions for this problem.

its a radeon xt700 ive upgraded the graphics driver and the catalist software and still no luck
